I met Bob when we were freshmen at Grant High School. We became good friends and remained so until I were transferred to Georgia to work. I nominated Bob for our fraternity and we saw a lot of each other during our college days. As my best man, he saw me through the exciting time of my marriage in June of 1963. I can still see him standing next to me at the altar in our tuxedos on that hot summer day........... When we decided to baptize our first child (Chris) no one else would do but our long time friend to be the Godfather; so it was done in the summer of 1968 and once again he came through with flying colors for us. We moved to Georgia in 1977 and missed seeing Bob over the years....... Fortunately before our 50th high school reunion, we spent an afternoon with Bob and it was as if we saw each other just the week before.
